Rudy "Swamp Fox" Frias

The Middle Son

Rudy "Swamp Fox" Frias started out playing for the Junior Muffins with his older brother Ian. Rudy found his calling very quickly, his home was in the outfield. Rudy was not always the strongest,  when it came to batting, but one of the smartest. He quickly came to be one of the best fair-foul hitters in vintage baseball. A fair-foul is when the ball hits fair and then goes foul and with our rules, the ball is determind fair, where it hits the ground first. Rudy earned his nickname, because he was playing the outfield during a game and it was a day after it rained all day. He was in right field and it was like a swamp and so his father gave him the name Swamp Fox. In 1999, Rudy joined the Columbus Capitals, because he wanted to get as many games as he could in.
Now a days Rudy is getting stronger, and is able to hit the ball over the outfielders heads now. The teams don't know how to play him anymore, because if they move in, then he will hit it over there heads and if they stay where they are at then he will hit a fair-foul.
