Yeah, I know what you are thinking, it is always the mother that keeps the family together, will that is the case with this family. Dianna Frias is the glue that keeps this family together. She keeps track of the uniforms, where and when the games are, and she keeps them from killing each other after a game. Dianna does all this while playing for the Lady Diamonds, which she help create.
Dianna started out as a crank (which is another word for a fan) and she enjoyed watching, but wanted to get more involved. So her and Pam Koons got together and thought that there should be a womens team. They started putting their ideas together on a name and a uniform. They came up with the name Lady Diamonds, because the uniforms were blue and diamonds are blue (shown below). They soon changed there uniforms to a more appropiate to the time period.
Now coming up on the Lady Diamonds tenth season, they are one of the best womens team in vintage baseball.
